When it comes to weddings these days there are a lot of different themes from goth halloween all the way to classic white. Sometimes the themes have to do with the colors and sometimes the themes have to do with what the couple likes. However, when you get married at or near Disney it seems that theme is already pre set for you.
This would be the most incorrect assumption that anyone could take though because each and every Disney Bride is unique and brings a whole new aspect to their Disney wedding.
Natalie and Matt got married on September 6th of 2012. Their wedding took place at Cypress Grove and then they did wedding pictures at the Yacht and Beach Club. Natalie is a true Disney princess and one of the things she enjoyed about her wedding day was getting to have that princess feel even if it was only for that one day. That feeling is something I think is very unique to Disney brides. They are getting married to their prince charming in a spot that thrives on making magical moments and once in a lifetime memories.
For Natalie and Matt the Disney Parks hold a very special place in their hearts as it is the only place they have ever truly vacationed. They got engaged outside of Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom and have celebrated birthdays and holidays at Disneyland Paris. The cutest part about their engagement story for me is that Matt did not have Natalie’s engagement ring when he proposed so instead he found her a Mickey Mouse ring that she still wears to this day.
For their wedding they used a small but very useful set of props. They had an I Do parasol which really went well with Natalie’s dress and they used some Up elements. Now I have seen several pictures with brides using Up balloons or the Grape soda pin but I think that Natalie’s balloons take the cake! The colors were arranged just right and so were the strings of the balloons. I also loved that her pictures were mainly in the Yacht and Beach Club area. Often times we see brides that head over to the boardwalk but not this girl. The Yacht Club was the first hotel she ever stayed in at Walt Disney World so therefore she had to use them as her wedding day backdrop.
Her pictures vary from classic and elegant to hip and charismatic. The couple definitely was having fun and you can see in their eyes. I truly believe you can read a lot about a moment from a picture and there was nothing but happiness on their very special day.
Natalie and Matt have been happily married for almost 5 months and I wish them the best in the world. I hope your day was full of pixie dust and I pray the magic of Disney forever encompass your marriage.
Congratulations
Teresa
